STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING
You must hold a valid Level 3 qualification to be eligible for this course.
One weekend in the classroom followed by an assessment day the following week.

Technical approaches to athletic development using strength training, plyometric, SAQ, power and CV approaches
How to analyse sport-specific, positional and athlete-specific needs
Programme development for the athletic population
Advanced resistance training and cardiovascular techniques to accelerate performance including SAQ, Plyometrics, Power and Olympic Lifting
Periodisation and effective planning for athletic events
Client assessments to include needs analysis of current ability, sports necessity and positional requirements
Specialise in athletic training within a health club
Become a freelance specialist Strength and Conditioning coach
Work towards athletic training positions with sports clubs and individual athletes
